The start site is E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park located at 3500 Freys Hill Road in the northeast section of Louisville, Ky. (see map)

Security will be provided for cars left overnight in the park's parking lot, however space is limited so we've made arrangements to also use the overflow lot down the road from the park this year. Riders are encouraged to carpool. Luggage transportation is provided to and from Bardstown.

Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Your registration fee includes fresh-hot brewed Heine Bros. Coffee and fresh bagels made by Nancy's Bagels before the ride on Saturday and Saturday's lunch in Fairfield, catered by the Fairfield Boy Scout troop and St. Michael's parish - there will also be a vegetarian option.

Buy a raffle ticket at lunch and take a chance on winning a brand new bike, donated by Clarksville Schwinn & Fitness, who also provide excellent roving SAG support, if you should need mechanical help with your bike. All proceeds from the bike raffle will benefit the American Red Cross.

You'll get plenty of SAG Stop food and drink along the way with fresh fruit and sandwich bread from Breadworks and Lively entertainment will greet you at most SAGs along the way.

When you get to Bardstown, look forward to yoga classes on the lawn by Baptist East Milestone Wellness Center.  WORKitOUT Therapeutic Massage along with the SPORTSMASSAGE TEAM will be providing post-ride massage for $1 per minute. There will also be Complimentary Horse Drawn Carriage Rides through beautiful historic Bardstown, courtesy of the Louisville Bicycle Club and live entertainment by Heckel & The Jives underneath the trees at Spalding Hall.

On Sunday, after a hearty Chris Cakes Pancake Breakfast in Bardstown, which is included in your registration, look forward to the world famous OKHT Cookie Stop SAG with entertainment by Molly McCormack and her dulcimer group, plus, the post-ride ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA PARTY at Sawyer Park!

Note:  All riders are invited and encouraged to bring a couple dozen cookies for the World Famous Cookie Stop on Sunday. With rider participation numbers like we had last year, we'll need all the cookies we can get Bake 'em or buy 'em. Just bring 'em!

A limited edition commemorative jersey will also be available for purchase. See the Home page for pricing.

A portion of your registration fee goes to help support the American Red Cross and other local agencies.  In 2012, through the OKHT, $11,846.00 was donated to the following charitable organizations;

The American Red Cross
The WHAS Crusade For Children
Bike To Beat Cancer
The National MS Society
Mt. Zion United Methodist Church
The League Of American Bicyclists

If you have already registered and are interested in purchasing additional items, you may do so here.  The extra items available are jerseys, t-shirts and meals in Bardstown.
