Stage 8 of the Tour de Mad Dog Challenge is the Lexington Leroy Century, a beautiful, challenging route that our own Melissa "Puddle" Hall spent many months designing.  The ride start is at Clark State Forest inside the main entrance off of HWY 31 at the ball field on the left.  Ride start is 8:00 AM with wheels rolling at 8:15.  Melissa and I will be co-captains sweeping the rear. It is ride 5514 on Larry Preble's website www.kybikerides.org.

The weather forecast suggests it is very possible we will get wet.  The good news is severe weather is not expected until later Saturday evening into early Sunday morning.  Temps are expected to be humid in the mid 80's, so drink plenty of fluids on what looks to be a very warm day that has no water stop between mile 52 and mile 88.

In the event of a cancelation or delayed start, I will post updates on the club website and kycyclist by 5:45 AM Saturday morning.

Unfortunately, I have found I have to work that week-end and am canceling the ride.  I may put it on later in the year if I can find dates that work for me.
