EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING<br>
MARCH 1, 2009<br><br>

Those present:  Tom Armstrong, Earl Jones, Kevin Jones, Mark Luking, Andy Murphy, Barbara Tretter & Jim Tretter.<br><br>

Those absent:  David Ryan<br><br>

The meeting was held at the Broadway Baptist Church after the 2pm ride.<br><br>

TOURING:  There was a lot of discussion about the Derby Bike Ride, put on by BIAK.  LBC will act as ride marshals, and there will be bike doctors from the local bike shops.  Helmets will be requested & BIAK will have a helmet give away.  There will be registration/sign in sheets.  
The route will be like the normal Sunday rouse, but will start from down town.  We need to find someone to take the leadership of this ride.<br><br>

EDUCATION:  Metro is once again given out a $2500 grant for educational purposes. It could be used for the classes like we have in the past, PSAs on TV & radio, and could also be used to get more LBC members certified as LCIs.<br><br>

NEW BUSINESS:  There was some concern about Bike Clicks taking our schedule & putting it out on their website.  This is not what was intended by Bike Clicks.  It would probably be used as a link on their web site to the LBC web site.<br><br>
