Puddle's Christmas Century sans Breakfast

The weather looks just fine for a century this Saturday.  Hopefully, we will not run into flooding. This century is going to Medora, Norman, and Brownstown.  The store at Medora said they are not flooded when I called today, but I have not and will not be driving up there to check. Be prepared. There are some bad roads, some gravel, a bridge you have to climb a barrier to get across, and a dog that nipped my ankle last time I did this route.  That being said, it is a nice ride, or it is in the other seasons of the year.  Frankly, I have never ridden all of it this time of year before when the earth is dull and colorless.

Please remember that daylight hours are short.  Feel free to stick a light on your bike just in case.  E-mail if you would like the GPS route and I will provide it.  I know I am riding slowly this year and I intend to continue to do so.  In fact, I really don't have much choice in the matter since I am out of shape.  I DON'T expect you to ride slowly or stay back with me if you want to forge ahead.  Call or e-mail if you have questions.

Lastly, if I find that there is flooding before the ride, I will substitute the Hardinsburg Century.
