Support the Down Syndrome of Louisville's Bike CampThe Louisville Bicycle Club is proud to continue giving back to the communities where we live, work, and ride. One program especially close to our hearts is the Down Syndrome of Louisville Bike Camp, a meaningful initiative championed by club member Susan Wentzel. Susan created this program in memory of her sister, Pat, who had Down syndrome and passed away in early 2025. This effort serves as a tribute to Pat’s life by helping others experience the joy and independence that comes with learning to ride a bicycle. Through this initiative, the Louisville Bicycle Club is working to help offset the cost of Bike Camp for participating families. About Bike CampThe Down Syndrome of Louisville Bike Camp is designed to teach children and adults with Down syndrome how to ride a bicycle in a supportive and engaging environment.
