Tour de Mad Dog Series Stage 9: Story Century

Starting Location:  Finley Township Volunteer Fire Department, 4012 IN-56, Scottsburg, IN 47170 - From Louisville take I-65 North to the Scottsburg exit (29). Go left (west) off the exit. In 3 miles, turn right on Finley Firehouse Road and park behind the fire department being sure NOT to block the doors.

Route Description: Warning. Lunch will take some time and will cost more than McDonalds. https://storyinn.com/ We usually eat from the grill outside which has a limited menu. The first store stop has no bathroom, however, there is a Dollar General at a turn that should have a bathroom. The first part of this ride is flat, but don't let it fool you. The climbing is almost all in the middle. It is a very doable century but not necessarily an easy century. One road is closed due to partially sliding down a hill. You will need to dismount, skirt the barriers, and get back on your bike. About an 1/8 of a mile. Those who have ridden it in the past four or five years have done this. The ride will be swept down to 12 mph.
