Route Description:
Le Tour de Pork is a bike tour through scenic southern Indiana started by the "Fat Boy Bikers" in 2007. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the development, maintenance, and use of the Ohio River Greenway. After many successful years, the Fat Boys have turned over the event to the Friends of the Ohio River Greenway to continue to support the cause.
The event takes place in beautiful Harrison County starting and finishing at Turtle Run Winery where there will be food trucks, live music, and wine available for tastings and purchase.
The Ohio River Greenway is a multi-use trail along the Ohio River in southern Indiana that connects New Albany, Clarksville, and Jeffersonville. The Ohio River Greenway makes the Ohio River accessible to bikers, walkers, and commuters of Southern Indiana and Louisville. Connecting our communities with developing amenities along the trail, the Greenway is one of our most valuable resources and a source of pride for all of our communities that border the Ohio River.
