Ride: Tour de Mad Dog Stage 14: Old Gilgal

Route Description: Seize this opportunity to experience some roads less traveled by LBC. We will make our way through Jericho, Sulphur, Bedford, Carrollton, English, Port Royal, Campbellsburg, Smithfield, then back to LaGrange. The most notable segment of this ride is the 1.3-mile ascent up Old Gilgal Road around the 58-mile mark.
Before attempting to ride a century, ensure that you are physically prepared for the challenge. This ride is rated 4B with 4 category 4 climbs and lots of roller. You must be ready to fix some minor mechanical issues, especially a flat. As always riding out in the beautiful countryside means there is a chance we might encounter some dogs. Some are friendly, some are true Mad Dogs. So, please vigilant!!
