Route Description:


This is a good century for those who want to try a century ride. It's only 2,500(ish) of elevation and most of the route is other club rides strung together. This ride loops back to Mile Wider Brewery before continuing on for the second half of the century. Or, you bail and go home. The choice will be yours.

The route is a figure eight that will start at Mile Wide Brewing Company in Louisville, KY.  The course will go out the Louisville Loop to Southwest Jefferson County, through parts of Jefferson Memorial Forest, Iroquois Park and back to Mile Wide Brewing for the first part of the route.  You will then head from Mile Wide to New Albany via the Ohio River Greenway, then back to Jeffersonville, to Utica and back to Mile Wide Brewing to conclude the ride.The ride will be swept at a 13 -14 mph pace.

  The weather forecast has a forty percent chance of rain in the afternoon. So please plan accordingly!

There are plenty of store stops which include the following:

1) BP at mile 22.25 (you see it from the Louisville Loop on Cane Run Rd.)

2) Circle K at mile 27.5

3)Circle K at mile 40.0

4) Lunch options are limited to McDonald's at mile 51.5 Or Bandido Tanqueria Mexicana (cash only and a food truck which is out doors) Turn Right at McDs on University Dr. other side of 65. or Speed Way the other side of McDs.

5) Mile Wide Brewery is at mile 54 (or you hoop in your car and call it quits)

6) Thornton's at mile 65.5 

7) Marathon at mile 74

8) The store in Utica at mile 84
