2026 Annual Polar Bear Ride, and Chili Cookoff

🚴‍♂️❄️ Kick off 2026 with the Polar Bear Ride, Swap Meet, and Chili/Soup Cook-Off! 🍲✨

The year has flown by, and it's time to keep the tradition alive! Join us for the free annual Polar Bear Ride and some post-ride fun with a swap meet and delicious chili cook-off. 🌟

Event Details:
📅 Date: New Year’s Day
🕙 Ride Start Time: 10:00 AM
🕦 Chili Cook-Off & Swap Meet: 11:30 AM
📍 Location: Goodwill Resource Center, 909 E Broadway, Louisville, KY

🚴‍♀️ Route:

• Distance: 11 miles (ride as many or as few as you like!)

• SPECIAL NOTE: We roll at 10:00am SHARP!

  Be sure to arrive early enough to get ready to roll by 10:00am.

  We start at the Goodwill Resource Center, 909 E Broadway, cross the Big Four bridge to the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center, back across the Big Four bridge to the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center, back across the bridge, winding back to Goodwill. Ride may be shortened by skipping the river crossing if weather makes it necessary.

🍲 Cook-Off Prizes:

• 🏆 Winner: $50 gift card to a local bike shop
• 🥈 Runner-Up: $25 gift card

Delicious sides and desserts are always welcomed to share! Want to lend a hand? Setup starts at 10:00 AM.
