Ride: Tour de Mad Dog Stage 11: Two Bridges Century

Starting Location: Gustavo's Mexican Grill, 6051 Timber Ridge Dr, Prospect, KY 40059, USA

Route Distance: 104 miles

Elevation Gain: 4,686

Route Description: This version is intended to reduce exposure to traffic on second half of route.  However, use extra caution on the many steep, curvy downhills, especially at miles beginningat 38.3 and nearly all of School Hollow Road starting at 55.3. START: Prospect Kroger Lot near Gustavo's Mexican Grill,  through the back roads of Oldham and Trimble Counties, crossing the bridge at Madison and through the back roads of Jefferson and Clark counties, then back over the Lewis and Clark Bridge to Prospect Kroger.  This ride is rated, 4B--challenging hills with average speed of 14 to 16 mph. You must be ready for a tough century ride.  I will sweep the ride down to a minimum of 13 mph . Since the course will take us far from home, we don't want to leave anybody behind. However, you must be prepared with all equipment to change a flat - tubes, pump, cartridge, etc.

Study the downloadable map and cue sheet below before deciding if you are ready:
