    Get ready to roll! The Kentucky Derby Festival is once again partnering with the Louisville Bicycle Club to produce the PNC Tour de Lou on Saturday, April 19.

    Participants will have the opportunity to bike in-person, as well as the option to participate virtually. The 12th annual PNC Tour de Lou is a unique way to explore Louisville on two wheels while passing through some of the city’s scenic parks, neighborhoods and historic sites with cyclists from all across the country.

    New for the 2025 Ride

    • The PNC Tour de Lou returns on a Saturday (April 19) for the 2025 event.
    • This year’s Start and Finish Line is moving due to flooding along the Waterfront. The Start and Finish will now be at the Belvedere (141 N 6th Street, Louisville). The Belvedere entrance is located on Main Street in Downtown Louisville between 4th and 6th Streets. More details and the final course will be released in the coming days. (Full course and route details will be released soon).
    • Scheller’s Fitness & Cycling will offer bike rentals for the first time for the PNC Tour de Lou. Participants can choose from a Road Bike or a Hybrid Bike (limited quantities available). Click HERE to rent a bike. 

    Ride Options

    As always, the Festival’s annual bike event is for riders of all levels of experience, with three separate cycling distances:

    • 62.1 Miles (Metric Century) – Ideal for advanced riders or those looking for a challenge: 8 AM
    • 35 Miles – Ideal for moderate/experienced riders: 8:15 AM
    • 20 Miles – Ideal for beginners or those new to cycling: 8:30 AM
    • Virtual Ride – 20, 35, and Metric Century Options (Find more info here!)

    Packet Pick-Up

    • Thursday, April 17th: 4 – 7 PM
    • Friday, April 18th: 9 AM – 7 PM
    • Location: West Sixth Brewery, Main Floor
    • Saturday, April 19th: 7 AM – 8 AM on site near the Belvedere Start

    Post Ride Party

    NEW THIS YEAR, all participants can celebrate after the ride at the Post Ride Party! Cyclists 21 and over can enjoy one free beer thanks to West Sixth Brewing (Must present ID and ride medal). Each participant will also receive a sweet treat courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cake (Official Bundt Cake of the Festival) or a Partee’s Kitchen Cookie. Plus, Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, the Official Fried Chicken of the Festival, is offering a free piece of chicken to all cyclists.

    The 3 Steeples Ride is a scenic ride through rolling hills in beautiful Floyd Knobs, Indiana. There are rides for all ages and ability levels, from a 5.5-mile family fun ride to 26-mile and 50-mile rides for the more experienced riders.  We will have the same routes as last year and the same wonderful SAGs with homemade snacks and fresh strawberries from a local farmer with a lunch at 11:00 at St. Mary of the Knobs Church. 

    All proceeds will benefit St. Mary of the Knobs Ministries and School.

    All rides will start and end at St. Mary of the Knobs and ride through lightly travelled country roads.  SAG stops will be at St. Mary Navilleton and St. John's Starlight churches for the 26- and 50- mile routes. A fun zone SAG will be at Koetter Construction for the 5.5-mile family ride and will have activities for the kids.

    Price:  $50 for Adults; $35 for youth under 12 yrs. old.

    All participants who register before April 29th will be guaranteed a dri-fit technical T-shirt (men's, women's, and youth fit available). Registrations after that will receive a T-shirt only if extras are available. 

    New this year, thanks to our sponsor, Pacers and Racers Running/Walking Store, all participants registered by noon on February 28th will be included in a drawing for a $50 gift card for Pacers and Racers.  Then, there will be another drawing for a $50 gift card to Pacers and Racers for all participants registered by noon on April 29th.  So, be sure to sign up early!

    Please come join us for a fun and friendly ride.  All participants are required to wear a helmet while riding.

     

    Event details and schedule

    The 26-mile and 50-mile rides start at 8:30am and the 5.5-mile family ride will start at 9:30 at St. Mary of the Knobs. 

    Packet pickup will begin at 7:30am

    Parking is available at the St. Mary of the Knobs Geis Activity Center lot.

    The Cincinnati Cycle Club is excited to present the 5th annual Licking Valley Century on June 21, 2025. This ride offers stunning panoramas across a diverse landscape of hills and valleys, all while pedaling along quiet roads with very little traffic. See for yourself why many cyclists call this area “God’s country”.

    We offer a route for everyone, including a 42 mile Scenic Loop, a 63 mile Metric-Century, and the 100 mile Full-Century. The Licking Valley Century is also the third ride of the five-part Kentucky Cycling Challenge Series presented by Bike-Walk Kentucky. Additionally, we offer a competitive KOM/QOM Challenge and a fun STYLE Challenge.

    All six rest stops will be fully stocked with Clif Bars, Infinit Hydration, and a large variety of snacks. The Butler stop will be serving fresh baked goodies from the MillStone Cafe. Laurel Bend Farm at Falmouth features Kona Ice Treats. The Lenoxburg General Store will furnish sandwiches & soda. And, the 12 Mile Creek Winery will offer wine for purchase with free delivery to the finish line.

    Live music, hot food, & cold drinks await you at the finish with inside (air conditioned) and outside seating available.
