Route Description: Route Description: The first time I led this ride, we went across the bridge to Indiana for a loop before coming back. John Pellegrino updated the ride a few years ago to drop that part. I like what he did and have adjusted the ride a bit to avoid some busier roads. The course will go through Anchorage, PeeWee Valley to the Anderson Loop and start back up as we approach Finchville. We will wind our way through Long Run Park on our way to lunch in Crestwood. We head to the outskirts of LaGrange before reaching Prospect and our last stop before going up Wolf Pen Road and back to the park.
Pre-ride announcements will take place at 8:15 AM, and we ride at 8:30 AM.
Store Stops: We have 4 'official' rest stops at 29.9 Pilot, 56.2 McDonalds, 82.1 Bully's BBQ and 94 Circle K. There are many places to stop along this route. You may find yourself behind the sweep if you don't communicate with the ride captain.
This is a self-supported ride, so be prepared. Bring everything you need to change a tire. You might not know how to do it, but you should provide all the tools, tires, etc. for those who can help you. Ride Captain is 'old school' and cannot help you with tubeless other than to put a tube in your tire!
